How do I setup a Contact Form?

“Everything you need to know about your humans in one spot.” 

To set up a contact form you need to first of all have the  Gravity Forms plugin. You'll also need UkuuPeople's Addon for Gravity Forms, which will capture that data back into your UkuuPeople hub.



1. Okay, first of all, grab a cup of coffee or tea (whichever you prefer).
2. And now you're ready to create your contact form in Gravity Forms. It might look something like this: 

   

3. Next you'll want to create an UkuuPeople "People" feed to get your data back into UkuuPeople:

4. Now just map your fields and save the feed. You don't need to map a field for every entry. Just the ones you want. First and Last Name as well as Email are required. (Note: the first feed is just the contact info. You'll create another feed for the message portion which will turn into a TouchPoint in UkuuPeople.)

5. Next you'll create a feed for the TouchPoint. This will take the contact message and create a Touchpoint on the Human in UkuuPeople. 

6. For the TouchPoint feed begin and end date you can use the "Entry Date" for the form. 

7. Feel free to customize other areas of your form as you wish. Especially the "Confirmations" and "Notifications" can be important to make sure your user gets a tailored experience. Other than that you are good to go! Insert your form into a page and watch the magic happen.
